"Your Gamete, Myself" Response
If when I am ready to have children, but was not able to, I don't know whether I would choose to adopt or using an egg donor. I think using an egg donor is great, but that is like having someone else's child. By either adopting or using an egg donor, I would not be able to have my own child which would be horrible. I think that the women who chose to use an egg donor should tell their child when they are old enough to understand. I think it is wrong to keep such an important part of their life away from them. The older women get, I still don't think it is right for them to use an egg donor to have children. Because they are older, they are not able to give the care and attention young children need which is not fair to them. I have mixed feelings about using an egg donor, depending on the situation. I think it is something great, that helps many families who are able to have children who have longed for them, if they complete the process in the right way. I also believe adoption is a great way to raise children too. They are able to live a healthy life in which they are truly cared for by people that love them, which they might have not been able to have from their birth parents. In conclusion, I don't think that having a child from an egg donor should be something that should be hidden. The children have every right to know and it could only help them.

"Facebook: Why I Hate It" Response
After reading this article, I realized how much time I do spend wasting on Facebook when I should be doing school work, or anything more productive. It is a way of knowing everything about everyone simply by looking at your news feed. By checking it in the morning, you know who broke up overnight or what parties people went to last night. You are friends with so many people - many whom you have no idea who they are, which if you think about it is scary because they know so much about you without knowing you. Before I came to school, I became Facebook friends with so many people also coming to West Chester University. I remember in the first few weeks of school walking around campus and recognizing people from Facebook, not because I knew who they were. It is scary to know that everything you put on Facebook, everyone can see. Nowadays, many employeers are checking Facebook before they offer someone a job. Many times that can be the deciding factor. Schools are able to logon now which leads to many students getting in trouble for pictures posted. Although it is a great way to comunicate with friends from home who we don't get to see everyday anymore, it has become such an addiction to so many people, especially high school and college students when there are so many more important things we could be spending our time doing. As many times as we say we are going to get work done, we find ourselves logged onto Facebook and finding out what everyone is up to, which makes it all the more difficult to stop.
